Soda Springs/Chesterfield

On our trip to Soda Springs we stopped at several places. We went to Randolph and Garden City. I am so sad I didn't snap some photos but we did get some fun ones of Chesterfield. Chesterfield is about 20 miles from Soda Springs. It has lots of mormon history. As you will notice in this post and the next few posts this is a very educational trip...not on purpose.
Hyrum got to hold an iron back from the good ol' days. It was very heavy. They must have been some strong women!
We were in Soda Springs for several weeks and we did alot of hopping from Grandpa and Grandma Rupps to Grandpa and Grandma Moldenhauers. Here Hyrum is mowing the lawn with Grandpa. Or as Hyrum likes to call it "lawning."
Dad and Adam....Adam actually fell asleep. It must have been relaxing!

We drove past a cemetary today and Hyrum asks, "what is that mom." So I was explaining that when people die thats where their bodies are put under the ground and their spirits go and live with Heavenly Father again. He then turns to me ask says, "they died by swords?" It took me a few moments to understand what he meant but I finally got it figured out. My son think that everyone dies by sword fights.

Today we were swimming and we had just finished the lazy river. So I said to Hyrum, "Was that fun or what!" He turns to me and says, "its what!"
Funny Moments

We were at church today and Hyrum was looking through my gospel principles book at pictures during the sacrament. All of sudden it slipped through his fingers and he says, "I dropped Jesus"...it was really loud. We had some pretty funny laughs all around us. He's quite the little boy.
Funny Hyrum Phrases:
"I can't like that either"
"Can I have a Graham Cracker like a sandwich?

Hyrum and I were looking at the Disney FamilyFun magazine october edition together. We were looking at all the fun costumes and halloween stuff and getting excited for this time of year. I turn the page and there was a huge mummy cake. So Hyrum asks what it is and I explain that its a mummy for Halloween. He replied, "Its just you, Mommy" and i said, no its a Mummy (emphasizing the U) and he says ok its just you its a Mommy. I guess I am a hideous looking toilet paper covered monster. I couldn't get him to say it the right way so it was quite the funny little moment!
