Hyrums birthday

My Hyrum turned 6 years old July 28th. He bring so much joy to our family. He is very outgoing and not afraid to talk to anyone. For his birthday we decided to go bowling with the grandpas and grandmas. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was so great!
He had a bumblebee cake in mind for a whole year now. So he finally was able to get what he wanted. It took a lot of mind work for mom, but we got it figured out!
He got lots of fun presents for his birthday. Bob books, a ball gun, optimus prime transformer from his grandparents. And a mario cart rolling back pack from mom and dad.

We drove past a cemetary today and Hyrum asks, "what is that mom." So I was explaining that when people die thats where their bodies are put under the ground and their spirits go and live with Heavenly Father again. He then turns to me ask says, "they died by swords?" It took me a few moments to understand what he meant but I finally got it figured out. My son think that everyone dies by sword fights.

Today we were swimming and we had just finished the lazy river. So I said to Hyrum, "Was that fun or what!" He turns to me and says, "its what!"
Funny Moments

We were at church today and Hyrum was looking through my gospel principles book at pictures during the sacrament. All of sudden it slipped through his fingers and he says, "I dropped Jesus"...it was really loud. We had some pretty funny laughs all around us. He's quite the little boy.

Hyrum and I were looking at the Disney FamilyFun magazine october edition together. We were looking at all the fun costumes and halloween stuff and getting excited for this time of year. I turn the page and there was a huge mummy cake. So Hyrum asks what it is and I explain that its a mummy for Halloween. He replied, "Its just you, Mommy" and i said, no its a Mummy (emphasizing the U) and he says ok its just you its a Mommy. I guess I am a hideous looking toilet paper covered monster. I couldn't get him to say it the right way so it was quite the funny little moment!
