We love our library! Not just for the awesome books, movies, and cds that we get each week, but that we have wii games! Its the best thing ever. Then I can test out the games first before we decide we want to even buy it. And so far there aren't many that I would go out and buy! So its just been fabulous! This game the boys are playing is "just dance" kids version. We played it with Hannah at her house and it was a hit. I really think its helped Hyrum get some coordination. They had a blast playing it and it was a good energy burner.
Adam likes to go play in our closet. And on this occasion he came out looking like this....Daddy's Jamaica hat and silly slippers!
The other day it was so nice outside I really wanted to let the kids play bubbles but I was completely out. I remember my mother-in-law telling me that she has an awesome recipe for homemade bubbles. So I decided to try out Google and see if I might have everything to make my own bubbles. WOW! I was so impressed. I will never again buy expensive store bought bubbles. This recipe was simple, everything day household items, and they made HUGE awesome bubbles. The kids played for quite a bit and had a great time trying to get the biggest bubble.
Bubble Recipe:
1 cup water
2 tablespoons light karo syrup or 2 tablespoons glycerin
(I used the corn syrup)
4 tablespoons dishwashing liquid
(I used Dawn)
Hyrum wanted me to take a picture of his new water gun! He is posing here just for me!
And then we decided to pull out the kiddie pool....ways to be creative while living in an apartment!
