Lava Hot Springs is always a big hit for the kids. The specific day was hilarious with Adam. He was right on the line for his height to go on the slides. And the first lifeguard told him he couldn't go on the slide. He was so devastated. So I jokingly said maybe you just need to spike your hair Adam and then they will let you on. So after a lifeguard shift change we decided to see if they would let him on. As he was walking to the stairs the main lifeguard caught him and went and measured him. The whole time he had his hand pulling his hair up and saying over and over, "I have spiky hair, I have spiky hair!" And the lifeguard totally let him on. So every time he would walk up the stairs to the slide he would have his hand on his hair pullling it up!
Having story time with the older cousins!
Getting "fizzy" water for our dinner!
So this was always a fun tradition growing up when I was a kid. We would turn on the hose and put it in the gutter and let the water run all the way down the street. Then we would put our bouncy balls in the water and race them all the way to the bottom. The kids had a blast!
Visiting Grandpa Godfrey!
MaChel and her kids came up to Rexburg for a few day so we did a few fun things. One of our adventures was a fun hike.
Adam totally got stuck in the mud. It was so horrible. He first got nervous and then after we all started laughing it made him happy!
