The Park
I feel like its been so long since I have posted and I get so far behind that I have to do these HUGE posts to get caught up. So here goes, hope you enjoy!
We haven't been to the park it seems in forever. I forgot what the snow does to you. It keeps you inside ALL the time in the winter. Lately, we will catch a few nice days here and there so we took our chance when it was nice outside. I think this was the first time Adam has been in a swing. He laughed so hard. It must be the rushing of the stomach that gives the thrill of a swing ride.
Soda Springs (again)
For spring break we took some of our friends to my parents house with our kids and had an overnighter. The kids had a blast! We went to Octagon Springs and the geyser.
We also played reverse charades...a new favorite for the Rupps. I wish I would have gotten more pictures. It was quite hilarious!
On our ride home Hyrum just crashed. He partied very hard.
Temple Trip
Mike and I were able to go to my cousin's wedding in Salt Lake...with NO KIDS! It was so nice and relaxing. We attended a wedding dinner the night before the wedding and then had the chance to go to the sealing in the morning. Afterward Mike and I also did a session together. We have been doing some family history work and found a few names to take to the temple. So its been fun to go to the temple and really feel like we are doing something important. It was really awesome to see a live session as well, it really made me think about things differently.
St. Patricks Day
This year I decided to actually celebrate this festive occasion. We were lucky to have my nieces Ester and Miriam come stay with us for a little while and it happened to be on St. Patricks Day! So for breakfast we had green pancakes and eggs (I think the kids were a little weirded out by the green eggs). Then we made some yummy cupcakes rainbow style. I got the idea from Family Fun magazine. They always have some awesome ideas. For dinner we had corned beef and cabbage (ok, so I didn't do it for the main meal because I just couldn't handle it. I made it more as a sampler). We had a great time and it was fun to experiment with the color green!
What fun kids!!! Hyrum loved having his cousins for a sleep over.

Making the batter for the cupcakes. Each kid got to mix a color together.
Miscellaneous Pictures
If your asking what this is....well let me tell you. Its a hot dog on a stick hanging from my chair. We had some friends over for lunch and their little boy only wanted to eat the outside of the corn dog. A little while later we noticed the hot dog poking out of the chair. Then Hyrum comes over, examines it, and starts eating it from the chair....pretty funny.
My baby is walking!!! About two weeks ago by son became a pro walker. He is everywhere. I am actually really enjoying it. Its nice to have him off of the floor where all the crumbs are.
FHE night! We had a movie night in our fort with pizza and popcorn! Just love having memories like these.
Hyrums lovely candid of me.
Hyrum is in deep concentration while watching his show. I just love how he has his elbows on his knees.

Our dinner party. We had some friends over for dinner a couple of Sundays ago. On the left is Guarav a man from India that Keane and Mike have class with. He brought a dish from India and it was fabulous. Then Keane and his fiance also joined us.

I love how I haven't checked your blog in like a month! You "private" bloggers aren't good for me. I never check private blogs! Fun pictures. Love the corndog. Maybe we can see you around sometime.....:)
